Community Care Ambulance’s Education Department provides a wide variety of educational opportunities; not only for our staff of emergency medical personnel, but to employees of our community healthcare partners and the general public, as well.

CCA Medical Personnel Training

Delivering exceptional prehospital care is dependent on having a qualified staff of emergency medical personnel, specialized medical equipment and a fleet of Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support Ambulances and Wheelchair Vans that are meticulously maintained and ready to respond.

Community Care Ambulance’s Education Department is responsible for ensuring our paramedics, EMTs and emergency medical dispatchers participate in and receive on-going continuing education combined with hands-on training. These efforts result in a higher level of care extended to every patient we serve. To ensure our staff is delivering the best patient care by every employee in every situation, CCA mandates frequent competency skills testing for CCA employees, including:

• Airway Management/Advanced Airway Management
• ACLS Code Management
• Trauma and Medical Skills Assessment
• Advanced Pediatric Life Support
• Advanced Pharmacology

When it comes to staffing, Community Care Ambulance goes above and beyond the norm by employing the largest pool of Intensive Care Paramedics in Northeastern Ohio and RNs with ER and ICU experience.

Community Healthcare Partners Training

Our training center is equipped to offer a variety of continuing education classes to employees of our community healthcare partners who are in need of updating their certifications. Available CE Classes include:

• CPR
• First Aid
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• EVOC
